Have you ever struggled with dull, boring Guitar tones?

Whether you’re recording Electric Guitar or Bass, nothing kills the vibe faster than old dusty strings. I’m a firm believer of changing your instrument’s strings before a recording session. But, what if you can’t afford new strings or don’t have immediate access to a music store?

Have you ever tried Boiling your old strings?

It’s a crazy simple trick that can solve this dull, dusty problem, and this week I put it to the test!

In this video, we compare the before and after difference of String Boiling to hear if it improves the tone or output of the performance.
