This summer I wanted to find out what goes into making some of the world’s best microphones. Luckily, Sennheiser offers a Factory tour in Bissendorf Germany. In this video, we explore the Sennheiser evolution line which is produced in a 100% automated assembly line, and the Neumann brand which produces 100% handmade microphones.
In addition, I was fortunate enough to grab a quick interview with our guide, John, who shared some insight into the history of Sennheiser/Neumann microphone design and what’s next for the pro audio industry.
